IIT Kanpur is set to hold its 54th convocation ceremony on December 28 in the hybrid mode. The event would see the attendance of PM Narendra Modi as the chief guest, while Governor of Uttar Pradesh Anandiben Patel, and UP CM Yogi Adityanath would be the chief guests.

Last year, the ceremony was held in the virtual mode. A physical convocation would be held this time after a tear. No stone has been left unturned for the safety of students, teachers, guests and other attendees.
