
IIMC admissions 2022 commence, applications to be submitted through CUET

IIMC admissions 2022 have begun while applications will have to be submitted via CUET before June 18.
The admission process for the Indian Institute of Mass Communication has commenced for admissions into mass communication and journalism for post-graduate diploma courses. IIMC admissions are going to be conducted through the Central University Entrance Test (CUET) from this year. The CUET is going to be organised by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Interested candidates will be able to apply for the courses online at https://cuet.nta.nic.in/ before June 18, 2022.
NTA, along with the CUET PG, will be conducting the entrance examination for admission to PG Diploma in English Journalism, PG Diploma in Hindi Journalism, PG Diploma in Advertising and Public Relations, PG Diploma in Radio and TV Journalism and PG Diploma in Digital Media.
Further, admission to various courses is then going to be conducted via a counseling process, the details of which will soon be available in the IIMC prospectus.
However, the entrance examination for PG Diploma courses in Odia, Marathi, Malayalam and Urdu Journalism will be held separately and the application forms for these will be issued shortly on the IIMC’s official website, www.iimc.gov.in.
Admissions Incharge Govind Singh went on to inform that candidates who have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university will be eligible to apply for admissions to IIMC.
Further, students who have appeared or are appearing for the final year or final semester examination of their Bachelor’s degree will also be eligible to apply.
