A deputy conservator of forest was arrested for abetment to suicide of a forest officer. The accused was arrested when he was about to board a train to Karnataka. The RFO had allegedly shot herself with a service revolver at her home in Amravati on Thursday.
An IFS officer was arrested on Friday for allegedly abetting the suicide of a woman colleague, a Range Forest officer, who shot herself with a service weapon in Maharashtra's Amravati district. The IFS officer was arrested from Nagpur railway station when he was about to board a train to his place in Bengaluru, police said. The police arrested Vinod Shivkumar, deputy conservator of forest, Googamal Wildlife Division of Melghat Tiger Reserve (MTR) in Chikaldhara, from Nagpur Railway station in the morning hours, said Amravati superintendent of police (rural) Dr Hari Balaji N on Friday.More Related News
