Salman Butt said India should not drop Virat Kohli as the Test captain even if he flops in South Africa as it would be harmful for cricket.

Former Pakistan captain Salman Butt feels it would be a bad idea to replace Virat Kohli as India's Test captain with Rohit Sharma as then it would become very clear that both players are not getting along on or off the field.

Reports of an alleged rift between Kohli and Rohit had been doing the rounds ever since the latter replaced the former as the T20I skipper last month.
