A video has been posted by Congress leader Srinivas BV in which a man can be seen using a cigarette lighter to set fire to a towel kept in a police vehicle in West Bengal.
As BJP and TMC continue to spar over the violent protests in West Bengal, Youth Congress national chief BS Srinivas has tweeted a video in which a man can be seen using a cigarette lighter to set fire to a towel kept in a police vehicle.
On Tuesday, a police car was set on fire near a police station in central Kolkata’s Burrabazar area allegedly by BJP protestors during the march towards Bengal secretariat ‘Nabanna’. Several people police personnel and BJP supporters were injured during the protest rally.
In the video posted by Srinivas BV, a man in an orange t-shirt can be seen using a cigarette lighter to set fire to a towel kept in the police vehicle. In a while, another man can be seen vandalising the same vehicle.
Taking to his official Twitter handle, Congress leader wrote, "Just identify, which party's 'nationalist rioters' are burning police jeeps in West Bengal?"
