ICMR bats for reopening of primary schools, Covid testing instead of temperature checks

While advocating for the reopening of primary schools, a paper published in ICMR's peer-reviewed medical journal has suggested regular Covid testing instead of temperature checks to contain the spread of the virus.

A paper published in the Indian Journal of Medical Research has recommended that schools in the country avoid "routine temperature checks" owing to "limited evidence" of their utility.
