The Bombay High Court on Thursday granted bail to Deepak Kochhar, husband of former ICICI Bank CEO Chanda Kochhar in connection with the ICICI Bank-Videocon money laundering case. In December 2020, a Mumbai-based court had dismissed Deepak Kochhar's bail plea in connection with the case. The husband of the former ICICI Bank CEO was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in September 2020. Last year, the ED had registered the money laundering case following an FIR registered by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) against the Kochhar couple, Videocon Group promoter Venugopal Dhoot and others.More Related News
