Rishabh Pant's rise in Test cricket continues as the India wicketkeeper-batsman has climbed to his career-best ranking of No. 7, moving up 7 places in the latest ICC Test Batting Rankings updated on Wednesday. Pant's 747 rating points are the joint-15th highest by any India batsman, and the highest by a full-time Test wicketkeeper from his country. Meanwhile, India captain Virat Kohli has retained the 5th spot on the ICC Test Batting Rankings but the skipper's rating points of 814 is his lowest since November 2017.
