ICC Champions Trophy 2025: BCCI announces 15-man Indian squad with Mohammed Shami and Kuldeep Yadav back into the squad.
The BCCI announced the 15-man squad for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Mumbai on Saturday (January 18, 2025).
BCCI chairman of selectors Ajit Agarkar announced the 15-man squad for the Champions Trophy. Mohammed Shami and Kuldeep Yadav make the comeback in the Indian ODI squad. Mohammed Shami played white-ball cricket during the ICC ODI World Cup 2023.
Harshit Rana will be back-up reserve for the England ODI series as Jasprit Bumrah will miss out the first two matches.
India will be playing all their matches at the Champions Trophy in UAE as the government had refused permission for the team to travel to Pakistan.
The Champions Trophy will be starting on February 19 and India will be playing its first match against Bangladesh on February 20.
The team was announced by the chairman of selectors Ajit Agarkar and captain Rohit Sharma during a press conference in Mumbai. Head coach Gautam Gambhir was not present at the press conference.
