IAF chopper crash: Group Captain Varun Singh's cremation to take place in Bhopal on Friday

Group Captain Varun Singh, who succumbed to his injuries sustained in the IAF chopper crash, will be cremated in Bhopal on Friday, Collector Avinash Lavania said on Wednesday.

Group Captain Varun Singh, who succumbed to his injuries sustained in the Indian Air Force (IAF) helicopter crash that killed Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat on December 8, will be cremated in Bhopal on Friday, Collector Avinash Lavania said on Wednesday.

The mortal remains of Singh are likely to be brought to Bhopal at around 3 pm on Thursday, he added.
