Lara said he was not able to come to terms with the fact that Kohli's first T20 World Cup as captain will be his last as skipper in the T20 spectacle.
Virat Kohli on September 13 announced his decision to quit T20I captaincy after the T20 World Cup, starting October 17. Kohli cited workload management for the unforeseen decision while maintaining that he will continue to lead India in the ODI and T20I formats of the game.
