I-T Dept attaches assets worth Rs 1000 cr linked to Maharashtra Dy CM Ajit Pawar in Benami property case

The Income Tax department has provisionally attached assets worth Rs 1000 crore linked to Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar in the Benami property case.

The Income Tax (I-T) department has provisionally attached properties worth over Rs 1,000 crore allegedly linked to close aides of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and NCP leader Ajit Pawar.

The Benami department of the I-T department has issued a provisional attachment order, which, according to sources, is part of their ongoing investigation.
