Hyundai rolls out 10 millionth car from its Chennai plant, Alcazar gets the honour

Hyundai Motor India, along with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, announced a host of community-centric social value initiatives for the state.
Hyundai Motor India today rolled out 10 millionth car from its manufacturing facility near Chennai, Tamil Nadu, thereby, becoming the fastest automaker to achieve the milestone. The 10 millionth car, a Hyundai Alcazar, was rolled out of the production line in the presence of Hyundai Motor India MD and CEO S S Kim and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin. Moreover, Hyundai Motor India and Stalin announced a host of community-centric social value initiatives for the state of Tamil Nadu, including the inauguration of Dream Village Project 2.0, launch of income-generation programme (dairy farming) for rural women, donation of five ventilators to government hospitals and support to a self-help group for setting up a mobile catering service. The project certificates were handed over to beneficiaries by the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister.More Related News
