Hyundai Motor India crosses 1 million cumulative SUV sales milestone

Hyundai Motor India currently sells four SUVs -- Venue, Creta, Tucson and Kona Electric -- in the domestic market.

Hyundai Motor India today announced that it has crossed the cumulative SUV sales milestone of 1 million units across domestic and export markets. To commemorate the achievement, the automobile manufacturer has introduced the 'No. 1 SUV Maker' national campaign. At present, the SUV portfolio of Hyundai Motor India includes Venue, Creta, Tucson and Kona Electric. Among the SUVs of the automobile manufacturer that were earlier on sale in India are Terracan and Santa Fe. "We are extremely grateful for the love and trust our customers have presented in Hyundai branded SUVs. As frontrunners in the introduction of revolutionary technologies, we continue to establish new milestones and redefine benchmarks across segments. With over 1 million cumulative SUV sales in domestic and export markets, we have reiterated the promise of Make-in-India over nearly two and a half decades of our presence in India. This achievement also epitomises our manufacturing excellence and the unconditional admiration for Hyundai brand in India," Hyundai Motor India Sales, Marketing and Service Director Tarun Garg said.
