Hyderabad honour killing: What happened on the day when a Dalit man was killed by his Muslim wife's family

The wife of Nagaraju, the Dalit man was was killed by her Muslim family, narrated the sequence of events prior to the fatal attack on her husband in the case of the suspected cases of honour killing in Hyderabad.
Syed Ashrin Sultana aka Pallavi, the wife of 25-year-old Nagaraju, the Dalit man, who was killed by the family of his Muslim wife, narrated the sequence of events that transpired before the attack on her husband in the suspected case of honour killing in Hyderabad.
Sultana said on the day of the attack, Nagaraju had left for work in the morning and asked her to stay at the house of his sister-in-law who was unwell. He returned to his house for lunch at 3 pm after which he again left Sultana at his sister-in-law's house, after which he left for work. He returned from work at 8:30 pm in the evening to pick up Sultana. While they were on the way to their house, the attack took place.
Sultana said, "My sister-in-law was unwell, so he asked me to stay with her on the day of the attack. He left for work around 8 am and left me at her house. In the afternoon, he returned for lunch and again left for work and dropped me at the house of his sister-in-law. He returned from work around 8:30 pm and picked me up. We were attacked while returning to our place."

She said, "Initially I could not recognise the attackers and kept asking 'Why are you attacking my husband'. Later, when I was trying to rescue my husband by pushing them away, I recognised my brother. My relatives were not involved, my brother and his friends did this."
She also lamented that nobody came to the rescue of her husband even as she begged for help. She said, "Had the onlookers helped, my husband would have been alive today. It's not only about us, people should come to help whenever such a crime takes place anywhere in the world."
She said, "The attack continued for 15-20 minutes, but nobody helped."
