Hyderabad dance teacher turns drug peddler, arrested in Nagpur

A dance teacher from Hyderabad, who lost his job due to the pandemic, has been arrested in Nagpur for peddling drugs.
The Nagpur police in Maharashtra have arrested a former dance teacher who allegedly turned to drug peddling after losing his job during the Covid-19 pandemic. A resident of Hyderabad, 27-year-old Shinvshankar Isampall was arrested by police officials from the Beltarodi police station in Nagpur on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday while he was trying to deliver a consignment of 91 kilograms of marijuana worth lakhs to a client in Delhi. Isampally was intercepted on the Wardha road by police officials as they spotted that he was carrying a huge package. Initially, the accused tried to flee but the police managed to chase him down. When checked, police officials found 91 kilograms of marijuana in Isampally's car. The marijuana is suspected to be illegally cultivated in and supplied by smugglers from Andhra Pradesh.More Related News
