Hunter Biden's attorney Abbe Lowell and Special Counsel David Weiss' team were in court in Wilmington on Tuesday for a hearing regarding the first son's case.
Special counsel attorney Derek Hines told the court the Biden matter is a "simple case," and that he was prepared to go forward with U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika's June 3 trial date. Charles Creitz is a reporter for Fox News Digital.
But Tuesday afternoon, Noreika rejected Hunter Biden’s request to delay the trial. His case will go to trial next month, according to the Associated Press. He joined Fox News in 2013 as a writer and production assistant.
Hines predicted the trial would take less than a week. Charles covers media, politics and culture for Fox News Digital.
