Humble Politiciann Nograj Review: Danish Sait’s web series is too long to be entertaining
India Today
Director Saad Khan’s Humble Politiciann Nograj, starring Danish Sait and Prakash Belawadi, is a satirical take on today’s politics. The show has clever punches and crackling slapstick comedy, but it is too long to be entertaining.
In 2018, director Saad Khan and Danish Sait’s Humble Politician Nograj gave a refreshing take on politics. The film, which had a cameo from late Kannada star Puneeth Rajkumar, became a hit venture. Three years later, we have Humble Politiciann Nograj again to entertain us. But, this time, he has come home in the form of a web series.
In the film, Humble Politician Nograj, his aim to become an MLA gets fulfilled. In the web series, his goal is to become the Chief Minister of Karnataka. Humble Politiciann Nograj is the chief of One Big Party, which has won 36 votes. KGB Krishna Gundu Bala’s Most Secular Party is three votes short of getting the majority. Nograj decides to form a coalition government by joining hands with Family Run Party, which is headed by a clueless son and his firangi mom. Horse-trading of MLAs happen. So does resort politics. Will Nograj become the Chief Minister of Karnataka? Watch the show to find out more.
