Huawei has launched the Huawei Band 6 fitness band in India that looks like a smartwatch.

If you are looking for a fitness band that does not cost much yet looks stylish, Huawei Thursday launched Huawei Band 6 in India. The Huawei Band 6 reportedly appeared on Amazon earlier this week, and an official announcement today kicks off a new journey for Huawei that has been silent in the Indian market for quite a while now. The Huawei Band 6 looks like a smartwatch, but you should not expect it to work like one. It is a fitness band that is primarily meant for health monitoring. It has an oximeter, a heart-rate sensor, and several exercise algorithms to get your workout going without much hassle. The Huawei Band 6 comes as a successor to the Huawei Band 5 that arrived in India back in 2019, so, technically, the fitness band marks the revival of Huawei in the fitness wearable category. The Huawei Band 5 was one of the best fitness bands in terms of data accuracy, but given the onslaught from brands such as Xiaomi, Amazfit, and Noise, it did not make a name for itself in the market. Eventually, the Huawei Band 5 stopped being available for sale. With Huawei Band 6, the Chinese company is trying its luck again. Not that its product is subpar, but the competition gets in the way.
