After Brahamastra's amazing performance at the box office, Bollywood has set its hopes on Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan's film, Vikram Vedha. VIKRAM VEDHA EARNS LESS SHAMSHERA IN ADVANCE BOOKING FOR DAY 1
Vikram Vedha's reviews are out. However, the film might not witness a huge opening day. According to a source, Vikram Vedha registered low advance booking despite a promising trailer. The film has created a lot of curiosity with its impressive star cast, but it might not lead to a buzzing cash register.
Until September 29 evening, Vikram Vedha had earned a little over R 2 crore in advance booking for its Day 1. Meanwhile, Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan’s is minting money and has earned more than Rs 12 crore in advance booking. Not just this, Vikram Vedha's advance booking is lower than the opening day collection of Shamshera, which was Rs 2.5 crore and Laal Singh Chaddha, which grossed Rs 2.8 crore on Day 1.
In the film, Saif plays a cop, Vikram, who is on the hunt to nab the gangster, Vedha. However, the classic case of the cat and mouse case takes a different turn after Vedha challenges the moral beliefs of good and bad for Vikram.
The 2017 Tamil film starred Vijay Sethupathi and R Madhavan in lead roles.
