HP is all set to launch a new range of Chromebook laptops in India at a competitive price point. The company is likely to focus on the education sector with its affordable Chromebook range and try to take advantage of the new online classes. HP is expected to launch the new Chromebook laptops at an aggressive price point starting under Rs 25,000 and will be available from April 2021. India Today Tech has learned from sources that the new HP Chromebook range will sport an ultra-thin design and promise to offer long battery life. At the same time, the HP Chromebook laptops will provide portability and mobility for students that can learn and play from anywhere and anytime. The new Chromebook laptop range is also said to come with HP's student-optimised hardware, software, and other app solutions preinstalled. HP could launch the new Chromebook range as early as April first week, with sales starting later in the month. At this point, we are not sure what HP Chromebook models are launching in India. But it could be the entry-level HP Chromebook 11a that may be announced. The HP Chromebook 11a was launched last year in June alongside the HP Chromebook x360 14c, a premium offering. The HP Chromebook 11a comes with an Intel Celeron processor with 4GB of RAM, 32GB storage, and Wi-Fi 5. It features an 11.6-inch HD display with Intel HD Graphics 500. The Chromebook 11a also packs a webcam.
