‘How will country progress this way?': Kejriwal hits out at Centre over CBI raid

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal hit out at the Central government over a CBI raid at Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia's home in connection with alleged corruption in the implementation of the Delhi liquor policy.
Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal launched a scathing attack on the Central government on Sunday morning (August 21) over Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raid at Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia's home in connection with alleged corruption in the implementation of the Delhi liquor policy.
He tweeted, “At a time when common man is battling inflation and crores of youth are unemployed, the central government along with all the state governments should fight unemployment and inflation. Instead they are fighting with the whole country. Every morning they wake up and start the game of CBI ED. How will the country progress in this way?”

Earlier on Friday (August 19), the CBI conducted raids at 31 locations, including Manish Sisodia's residence in Delhi, in connection with the alleged corruption in the implementation of the Delhi Liquor Policy.
Manish Sisodia held a presser where he denied the allegations against him and said he was being targeted for holding a post in Kejriwal's cabinet.
