People living in the countries with the highest incomes are being vaccinated against Covid-19 more than 20 times faster than those with the lowest, according to an analysis by India Today’s Data Intelligence Unit.
The scientific triumph couldn’t have been greater: multiple Covid-19 vaccines developed in record speed and more than five billion doses administered in more than 190 countries so far. The math suggests every third person on the planet should ideally have been double jabbed by now.
