How Bengaluru hospitals are battling Remdesivir crunch as Covid cases spike
India Today
India Today TV did a reality check to find out how Bengaluru hospitals are battling a shortage of Remdesivir as Covid-19 cases spike.
Aftab, a Bengaluru man whose long-time employee is battling with Covid-19, is running from pillar to post to get vials of Remdesivir, a life-saving drug for treating the virus, as hospitals are running out of stocks. Santosh Hospital, where the man has been admitted, has run out of the drug and has asked Aftab to source it on his own. "Do you have the medicine? Please let me know, I am ready to pay even Rs 10,000. I will buy it from you," Aftab said when India Today TV spoke to him.More Related News
