At least three people, including the suspected gunman, are dead, and two others were injured in a shooting at a Houston motel late Sunday, according to police.
Authorities said the shooting happened at the Palace Inn motel around 11 p.m before police arrived at the scene. When police arrived, the suspect-- who was on a second-floor balcony -- fired down on them before they even exited their patrol car, police said. No officers were injured during the exchange of gunfire. It was also not known if the suspect, who was described as an African American male in his 30s, was fatally shot by officers or suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound.More Related News
