Marjorie Taylor Greene to be removed from her committee assignments after making controversial comments, are now demanding that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi remove Rep. Ilhan Omar from her assignments as well, amid backlash over her statements likening the United States and Israel to the Taliban and Hamas.
Now, eight House Republicans, led by Rep. Carlos Gimenez of Florida are demanding Pelosi remove Omar from her committee assignments. In a letter to the speaker, exclusively obtained by Fox News, the GOP members reminded Pelosi that she said "it is the responsibility of the party’s leadership in the House of Representatives to hold accountable egregious words and actions made by Members of the Party."
