The Assembly will take up a resolution expressing solidarity with the people of Lakshadweep who had been protesting against the reforms introduced by Administrator Praful Khoda Patel. The decision was taken by the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) that met on Friday. The resolution will be taken up when the House meets at 9 a.m. on Monday . If an adjournment motion comes up, the resolution will be taken up after the adjournment motion. The House is likely to unanimously pass the resolution as the United Democratic Front had decided to support the resolution against the controversial decisions taken by the Administrator. The resolution will be followed by a motion a thanks for the Governor’s address on May 28.More Related News
