Two Bengal ministers, a Trinamool MLA and a former member of the ruling party - all of whom were arrested by the CBI earlier this week in connection with the Narada bribery case - will remain under house arrest for now, the Calcutta High Court said Friday morning. The court also referred the political leaders' bail hearing to a larger three-member bench after the two-member bench differed in their opinions; acting Chief Justice Rajesh Bindal ordered the house arrest of the leaders but Justice Arijit Banerje ordered for interim bail. The Central Bureau of Investigation had opposed the house arrest order and sought its stay.More Related News
