After the collapse of the Jafrabad embankment, the flood situation in Lalganj block in Vaishali district of Bihar has worsened. As a result, several villages — including their schools and hospitals — have been submerged under water. Lalganj Referral Hospital, the lifeline for hundreds of villagers in the area, is flooded with knee-deep water. This has been the case for the last couple of days, causing immense problems to patients and their attendants who have had to wade through flood water to reach the hospital for treatment.More Related News
