Online sale and home delivery of liquor has been allowed in Guwahati by the Assam government to prevent overcrowding outside alcohol shops amidst the Covid-19 pandmeic. The order came into effect in areas within the Guwahati Municipal Corporation following a notification by Rajesh Prasad, Principal Secretary of Assam Excise department.
