HMC holds development courses for Qatari staff

Doha: Hamad Medical Corporation’s (HMC) Hospitality Department has recently held a number of professional development courses for Qatari leaders in the Corporation’s Security Department. The courses were aimed at developing skills and expertise of security staff in in their respective field to support them in meeting the needs of all patients, visitors, and staff.
The courses, which were organised in collaboration with a Doha-based international training centre, gathered 14 leaders from the Security Department. Several participants have passed multiple assessments and advanced to higher levels in the programme while other participants will continue their development in the workplace. Hamad Al Khalifa, Chief of Health Facilities Development and Acting Chief of Business Services at HMC, said the objectives of the development programme are in line with HMC’s expansion plans to meet the increasing demand for its services. The programme includes sessions on planning skills, problem-solving skills, information technology, team management, as well as several other skills that are essential for security staff members and supervisors to perform their job duties in an efficient and effective manner.More Related News
