HMC announces visitor policy for non-Covid-19 facilities

Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) on Monday announced the visitor policy for non-Covid-19 HMC facilities. As per the policy, the  Visiting hours will be from 12.30pm to 8pm daily, HMC said in a social media post. Visitors are required to display a green Ehteraz status, wear a mask and undergo a temperature check before entry, HMC said. Only one visitor is allowed at a time for a maximum of one hour with maximum 3 visitors a day during public visiting hours. Escorts are not allowed. Food, flowers, drinks and chocolates are not allowed to be brought into the facilities and children under 15 years old are not permitted to visit patients. The announcement also said that no visitors will be permitted in the designated Covid-1 9 hospitals: the Communicable Disease Center, Hazm Mebeireek General Hospital, The Cuban Hospital and Mesaieed Hospital.
