History from India's perspective: Mohan Bhagwat lauds Akshay’s Samrat Prithviraj

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat priased Akshay Kumar, Manushi Chillar's Samrat Prithviraj and that we are now looking at 'history from India's perspective'.
Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chillar's Samrat Prithviraj released in theatres on Friday, June 3. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, who watched the latest Bollywood release, Samrat Prithviraj, at Delhi's Chanakyapuri PVR recently, lauded the film and called it 'world class'. He said, "We have read about Prithviraj Chauhan and Muhammad Ghori. But that was written by others. This is the first time we are getting to see this from the Indian perspective. We are now looking at history from the Indian point of view."
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat recently watched Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chillar-starrer Samrat Prithviraj in Delhi's Chanakyapuri. He was floored by the cinematic experience and lauded the film. He said that it is for the first time that the clash of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan and Muhammad Ghori has been written in India, in the Indian language and from the Indian perspective. He said, "We used to read our history written by others. We have read about Prithviraj Chauhan and Muhammad Ghori. But that was written by others. We are now looking at history from India's perspective."
