Akhilesh Yadav took a dig at UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath who attended the special screening of 'Samrat Prithviraj' and watched the movie with Akshay Kumar.
History can't provide rotis for today, Akhilesh Yadav said as he took a dig at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Aditynath, who watched the movie 'Samrat Prithviraj' at a special screening along with his cabinet colleagues at Lok Bhawan on Thursday. Actor Akshay Kumar, Manushi Chillar and director Chandra Prakash Dwivedi were also present.
Akhilesh Yadav tweeted, "After watching the historical film, the request to the Cabinet is to also see the present condition of UP. History cannot provide rotis for the present."

Adityanath, who was on a visit to Kanpur Dehat to oversee the preparations for the visits of President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday, arrived late for the screening.
Praising 'Samrat Prithviraj', he said, "The film talks about history and provides entertainment. It can be watched with the family.
We have learnt from the mistakes of the past and are trying to rectify the mistakes of the past 75 years. Our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, is moving forward with the vision of the next 25 years to take India ahead."
