A Hindu businessman was allegedly shot dead by unknown assailants in Pakistan's Sindh province on Monday.
The incident took place at Daharki Town in Sindh's Ghotki district on Monday night. The victim has been identified as Satan Lal.
This is the latest incident of atrocities on minority communities in Pakistan. On January 4, another Hindu businessman, Sunil Kumar, was shot dead by unidentified people at Anaj Mandi in Sindh province. According to a report by news agency ANI, the businessman's murder had led to a shutdown in the city.
On January 30, a Christian priest was shot dead and another wounded by unidentified gunmen who opened fire on them in Pakistan’s northwestern Peshawar city.
