Highway 11 fatal collision

A collision on Highway 11, south of North Bay, has resulted in the death of a 91-year-old driver.

A collision on Highway 11 in Powassan, south of North Bay, has resulted in one fatality and sent two others involved to hospital. 

The two-vehicle-collision happened on June 27th just before 4:00 p.m.

According to the OPP, the driver of one vehicle along with a passenger from the other vehicle were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The other driver involved, a 91-year-old from South River, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Northbound lanes were closed for over three hours Tuesday evening.
