Hemant Soren urges PM to allow Ukraine return students to complete education in India

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to allow students returning from Ukraine to complete their education in India through a letter.
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi urging him to look into the matter of medical students returning from war-hit Ukraine. Further writing that students returning from Ukraine were unsure about their future, he asked the PM to issue relevant directions for their benefit.
Taking to Twitter, the Jharkhand Chief Minister wrote, “I have written to @PMOIndia appreciating his sincere efforts in ensuring evacuation of Indian students trapped in Ukraine and urged him to give necessary direction to the concerned ministry to take appropriate steps enabling such students to complete higher education in India.”

In his letter to the PM, Jharkhan CM Hemant Soren wrote, “I would like to draw your kind attention towards the plight of students who have returned from Ukraine.”
“Russian Invasion of Ukraine suddenly interrupted their studies and it was only due to your intervention that they could be rescued back home safely,” he added.
“More than 180 such students have returned to Jharkhand. I convey my very sincere gratitude to you for your efforts ensuring evacuation of Indian students trapped in war-affected Ukraine,” said the state CM while expressing his gratitude.
The Jharkhand CM went on to remark, “You may be aware that a large number of students pursuing higher studies in educational institutions of Ukraine were enrolled in courses of medical education. Many of them have already completed 1", 2 etc. years of their course curriculum.”
