Nowadays, bizarre inventions in terms of garments and shoes have taken up the market by storm. People are embracing their quirky sides and want something out-of-the-box. Well, beer brand Heinekin understood the assignment and has come up with shoes filled with beer. Yes, you read that right. Called ‘Heinekicks’, the shoes will give you the feeling of “walking on beer”. And no, we are not kidding.
Heinekin collaborated with noted shoe designer Dominic Ciambrone, who is also known as the “shoe surgeon”. The sneakers are designed to celebrate the smoothness of Heinekin Silver, according to the company. The lace-up kicks feature the colours green, red and silver echoing the shades on the Heinekin Silver bottles and each one of them has a metal bottle opener too.
The soles of the shoes are filled with actual beer in them. Don’t believe us? Take a look.
Heinekin also shared the mindboggling news on Twitter. “Beer for your sole Designed in collaboration with noted shoe designer, Dominic Ciambrone, to celebrate the smoothness of Heineken Silver. Heinekicks aren't your everyday shoe, but it’s not every day you get to walk on beer,” reads the caption of the post.
