A heavy commercial truck crashed into a home in Iroquois Falls Tuesday evening.

A heavy commercial truck crashed into a home in Iroquois Falls Tuesday evening.

The mother of the homeowner told CTV News that a transport truck hit her daughter's home at a high rate of speed, narrowly missing the children inside.

Her son-in-law grabbed the children and his wife and escaped through a window.

Moments later the roof collapsed.

She said no one was physically injured, but their belongings are all gone.

Ontario Provincial Police have not released information on the incident.

But a social media update Tuesday evening said Highway 67 at Ambridge Drive was closed between Highway 11 and Iroquois Falls was closed due to a collision.
