Many were trapped inside their homes as water rushed in, while others were stuck in cabs on the commute to work. Civic body officials were soon seen deploying water pumps to clear out the waterlogging.
Poeple living in low-lying areas were rescued from their homes and taken to safety on inflatable rafts. As roads turned into rivers, photos and videos shared on social media showed volunteers with fish in their hands, caught fresh off the streets!
