Heatwave conditions are likely to continue in parts of Delhi-NCR till April 20. Furthermore, parts of Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand will also witness rising temperatures during this period.
Heatwave conditions are likely to continue in parts of Delhi-NCR till April 20, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Furthermore, parts of Haryana, Punjab, south Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar and Jharkhand will also witness heatwaves in the next two days.
During this period, maximum temperatures are expected to rise by 2-3 degrees Celsius over northwest India and fall by 2-3 degrees Celsius after that.
Maximum temperatures will also rise in Madhya Pradesh and the Vidarbha region, according to the weather department forecast.
Parts of northwest India have been experiencing above-normal temperatures in the last week.
