A heartbreaking video of a tree being chopped down in Kerala’s Malappuram, resulting in the deaths of many baby birds is making the rounds on Twitter. The tragic video of the baby birds falling to their deaths has garnered over 7,000 retweets in seven hours.
A heartbreaking video of many baby birds dying because the tree they were nesting on was chopped down is going viral on social media platforms. A video of the sad incident, reported from Kerala’s Malappuram area, was shared on Twitter by an Indian Forest Service Officer, with the caption, “Everybody needs a house. How cruel we can become.”
As of when this article was published, the 44-second video, shared by IFS officer Praveen Kaswan, had been retweeted over 7,000 times within seven hours.
The visuals that went viral on social media were reportedly from VK Padi in Tirurangadi in Kerala’s Malappuram district.
