Healthcare workers danced to Rajinikanth's hit song to spread awareness about Covid-19. The lyrics of the Tamil song Kikku Yerudhey were changed to highlight the need to wear masks, maintain social distancing and wash hands at regular intervals.

Healthcare workers of Melur Government Hospital shook their legs to a hit Rajinikanth song to create Covid-19 awareness. The healthcare workers used the tune of the song Kikku Yerudhey from Rajinikanth’s 1999 film Padaiyappa. The lyrics of the Tamil song were changed to highlight the need to wear masks, maintain social distancing and wash hands at regular intervals.
