'Health is included in essentials, but not education': Opposition TDP to AP govt on holding board exams

Opposition TDP on Monday strongly objected to the Andhra Pradesh government's move to hold the 10th and Intermediate examinations amidst the pandemic and said that health was included among the essentials but not education.

The Andhra Pradesh government is firm on holding the board exams for SSC and intermediate levels despite the Covid-19 pandemic, Education Minister Audimulapu Suresh made clear on Saturday, despite protests from the opposition. Opposition TDP on Monday strongly objected to the YSRCP government's move to hold the 10th and Intermediate examinations in total disregard for the feelings and safety of the students, parents and teachers. The opposition party termed it as adamant and negligent on the part of the chief minister.
