Headingley Test: Cheteshwar Pujara scores 1st fifty in 12 innings but wait for 19th hundred continues
India Today
Cheteshwar Pujara's wait for his 19th hundred continued on Day 4 of the Headingley Test as he got out on 91 in the fourth over of the first session on Saturday.
Cheteshwar Pujara answered his critics in style but fell agonizingly short of his first Test hundred in 35 innings on Day 4 of the Headingley Test as India resumed their fight in the match against England at Leeds. Resuming his knock on 91, Pujara failed to add anything to his overnight score of 91 after shouldering arms to an incoming delivery from Ollie Robinson to depart in the fourth over on Day 4. Pujara, who has been pilloried of late for his ultra-defensive approach and castigated for not showing enough "intent", batted at a strike rate of nearly and faced 189 deliveries, scoring his first Test fifty in 12 innings for India. He scored a whopping 15 fours during his knock.More Related News
