Army chief Gen MM Naravane said India has not lost any territory to China in Eastern Ladakh and talks are still on between the two sides to resolve pending issues.
Nearly a year after the standoff between India and China started in Eastern Ladakh last April, Indian Army chief Gen MM Naravane on Tuesday said the country has not lost any territory to China and talks are still on between the two sides. In an interview to Aaj Tak, Gen Naravanae said, "There has been a phased disengagement after the ninth round of Corps Commander-level talks and both armies have withdrawn to their previous positions. I want to clarify that we have not lost any territory [to China]." The army chief said India has adopted the path of dialogue to resolve the issues. "Talks are on regarding locations like Gogra and the Hot Springs," he said.More Related News
