Haryana's 75% quota on private jobs for locals put on hold by Punjab and Haryana High Court
Haryana's 75 per cent quota in private jobs for locals was today put on hold by Punjab and Haryana High Court.
The Haryana State Employment of Local Candidates Act, 2020, had come into effect in March 2021. The act applied to jobs offering a maximum gross monthly salary or wages of ₹ 30,000.
State Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala had said it will open new avenues of employment for thousands of youth.
