Haryana's 75% Jobs Quota For Locals Stays For Now

The Supreme Court on Thursday set aside a Punjab and Haryana High Court order staying a Haryana government order on providing 75 per cent reservation for locals in private sector jobs.

The top court asked the High Court to decide on the matter within four weeks, and also asked the state government to refrain from taking coercive steps against employers not following the law.
