Haryana police arrests truck driver in connection with actor Deep Sidhu's death

Haryana police has arrested the truck driver in connection with the death of Punjabi actor-turned-activist Deep Sidhu in a car accident.
The Haryana police on Thursday arrested the truck driver in connection with the death of Punjabi actor-turned-activist Deep Sidhu who died in an accident on February 15.
The driver has been identified as Kasim, a resident of Nooh district in Haryana. He will be produced before the court tomorrow.
The 37-year-old actor, accused of being the key conspirator of the Red Fort violence on Republic Day last year, died after his SUV hit a truck on Kundli-Manesar-Palwal expressway in Sonipat district.

He was travelling from Delhi to Punjab when the incident occurred. On the complaint of Deep Sidhu's brother Mandeep, a case was registered against the truck driver for alleged rash and negligent driving.
Deep Sidhu was driving the vehicle, a white Scorpio, when the incident took place and was travelling with close friend Reena Rai, who survived the accident.
