Haryana govt extends summer vacation in schools till June 15

The schools in Haryana will remain closed for now as the summer vacations have been extended by the government till June 15.
The government of Haryana has decided to extend the summer vacations for all the schools in the state till June 15 in view of the rise in Covid-19 cases. The schools will most likely continue with online learning methods once the vacations are over. Earlier, the state government had plans to reopen the schools in Haryana from June 1, but due to the current Covid-19 situation in the state, the closure of schools has been extended to make sure that the students don’t fall prey to the virus. Haryana is currently reporting more than 2000 Covid-19 cases per day. Thus, the education department of the state has decided to keep the schools closed. No final date for the reopening of schools has been announced by the government yet.More Related News
